Golden Gear 2011 Duelist Entry

Following up my conversion of the Dark Cobra into an Engineering Cobra, I finally had the entire piece painted last weekend. Here are two shots of the finished piece:

Considering it's in-universe background as a heavy construction vehicle, this Gear was much too shiny and new, so I decided to try out a new weathering technique using oil paints. And, I think we can all agree, the finished Gear seems much more appropriate....

So, Ladies and Gentlemen, making it's first appearance in the Arena Dueling Circuit........The Wrecker!
