"So Long, and Thanks for all the Panzers..."

My final WW2 AFV unit for the foreseeable future - a (very) late war StuG Platton. These are all PSC StuG Ausf. Gs with BF Begliet escort riders attached. I used this unit to try out a new masking technique make the "dot pattern" camouflage and I must say I really like the end result. The effect was achieved by using a hole punch to punch scattered patterns of holes in an adhesive-backed Avery mailing label, applied to the tank and lightly airbrushed with two colors. All the stowage and tarps are made from plasticard and GS.

I also had a chance to complete a long overdue Pioneer supply truck for my Schwerepanzer Panzerpioneers from last year. This is simply a Zvezda Opel Blitz truck, mounted on a BF medium base, with stowage and cargo from BF and copper wire.

Awesome painting! The weathering really catches the eye and the self made stowage adds lots of flavour.
