I finally broke down and spent good money on about 4 Kolinsky Sable brushes. This was the first mini I finished with them and I must say that it was money well spent! The paint went on like a dream and the brushes were just wonderful to paint with.
I haven't based this fig yet...I'm thinking of doing an entire set of chess themed minis and mounting them all on cobblestone bases, somewhat of a fantasy Steampunk concept. This mini is from Black Scorpion (as part of their "Desolation Row" line) and sizes nicely with other newer GW figures.
