Inquisimunda Updates - Hurray!

Yeah, I've been pretty lax in updating the blog and the boards recently. I've had a lot of good and bad personal issues to deal with in the past month and, with Adepticon coming, have not had much impetus for Inquisimunda.

As some of you know, my wife and I are proud to announce that we're expecting our first kid sometime this fall. We're very excited and a little nervous...

Unfortunately, I was recently laid off from my job and it's been rather difficult to find any new work. Though it doesn't pay the bills, I do have more time to write and I'm trying to fill up some of my free time with expanding the offerings for Inquisimunda. It may not look like it, but the write-ups are a lot of work to create and maintain and there are a lot of times where I have to force myself to write and get shit done.

Here's what's new:

-The Mutant Mobs list has be re-uploaded to properly reflect version 1.4

-The Arbites/Expurgators list has gotten a little bit of a clean-up, in terms of editing and proofs. This really wasn't anything to warrant a version update, so it remains at version 1.2

-Chaos Covens have FINALLY gotten an update, making them a bit more balanced & formidable. You can now take Chaos Marines (don't ask how I left that one out!) and there are BETA rules in the addendum for summoning.

-The cost of all beasts in the Bestiary has been lowered by 5 Geld!

-Genestealer Cults got a small update, making them more consistent with other horde lists.

-Species and Races got a HUGE update! Costs lowered across all species to more accurately reflect their costs being ported from Necromunda, as well as certain mutations. The only exception are Gholams/Chimerics, which actually increased by 10pts. to their base cost. True Grit is expensive!

-The Addendum has BETA rules for Summoning and Starvation added.

The Nobilist and Xenos Strike Force lists should be ready before the end of the week. For now, enjoy!

I noticed in the Chaos Coven it claims it's title is 'Underworld Elements'.

The Chaos Coven also have a 3 Geld upkeep, I was wondering if it was a misprint, or if the coven actually has a 1 Geld higher upkeep per member.

Thanks!

@oniakki: I don't know why Google Docs has appended the Coven listing with the header "Underworld Elements"...it seems both lists are in order, though.

And yes, the Coven list does have an upkeep of 3 Geld/member but remember that the upkeep/starvation rules are an optional rule under the addendum and must be agreed upon by all parties before being used.

Hope that helps!

Cool, maybe the title thing is just a screwy download on my part. Not a big deal, but was confusing for a moment ^.~

Anyway, thanks for clearing that up. My gaming group tends to add those rules in if they're not there by default anyway. (For that matter there is some talk about making all the... warbands... follow the territory-less earning scheme.

Something else I noticed, if a Chaos Coven cannabalizes they grant their puritan adversaries 'Hatred'. However, in the next section it says that puritan warbands are always subject to Hatred against the Coven.

Oh, in the Species and Races and Allies books under the Fallen Astartes listing it mentions marks of chaos, but I couldn't find them referenced anywhere else. A couple of players want the potential allied Chaos Marine to be marked to match the warband dedication.

Thanks again for your work!

@Oniakki: Quit pointing out my mistakes! LOL. I'll be sure to correct it in the next update.

ATM there are no rules for Marks of Chaos simply because I don't have a game mechanic for them. Feel free to post that to the Inquisimunda forums and I'd be willing to hear player input on the issue.
